Dr. Tara Swartz

Dr. Tara Swartz’s interest in medicine began at a young age always desiring to help others. She watched as her mother suffered with chronic back pain looking for alternatives to surgery. It was at that time Dr. Swartz was introduced to the benefits of a holistic approach to medicine.

Prior to becoming a physician Dr. Swartz obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona and worked in the field of research. Dr. Swartz obtained her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM), a 4-year accredited naturopathic medical program in Tempe, Arizona.

Dr. Tara Swartz is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of Arizona practicing family care. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AzNMA). Upon graduating from SCNM, Dr. Swartz completed a preceptorship focusing on family care and chronic disease.

Dr. Swartz has a passion for Naturopathic Medicine, finding the cause and treating the person as a whole. She believes in listening and working with her patients to develop an individualized treatment approach. Dr. Swartz stays truthful to the 6 Naturopathic Principles: Primum Non Nocere, Vis Medicatrix Naturae, Tolle Causum, Tolle Totem, Docere & Prevention.
